Helloiid expose au West Indies Green Festival 2023

In the vibrant heart of the beautiful town of Le Moule, Guadeloupe, I had the honor of showcasing my talent at the outdoor art exhibition during the West Indies Green Festival 2023. It was an incredible moment to share my passion with you all.

With 11 captivating works , I explored a variety of mediums: pencils, watercolors, gouache, and even ballpoint pens. My inspiration comes from Afro-Caribbean culture and the colorful characters of our islands. I wanted to create pieces that would withstand the vagaries of the weather, so I printed my works on tarpaulin.

Let's discover together the stories behind each of my creations:

1 - Gaia: Mother Earth
"Gaia" embodies the spirit of Mother Earth, celebrating the connection between man and nature with soft colors and delicate details.

2 - The Village Woman
Here is a character from my fictional world, a magnificent woman who exudes grace and strength. Her captivating gaze, created digitally, tells her story.

3 - The West Indian Woman in Paris
This work represents the audacity of the West Indian woman enjoying her local chocolate in Paris, surrounded by Caribbean floral motifs.

4- Figi: The Face
In "Figi", I closely explore emotion through the eyes of my villager, a digital portrait that attracts attention.

5 - Bianca: Beauty in Simplicity
"Bianca" celebrates natural elegance and reminds us that true beauty comes from within.

6- Freshwater Fish
An underwater dive where I pay homage to the aquatic life of the Caribbean with vibrant colors and fluid brushstrokes.

7 - Madanm: The Lady
This work highlights the beauty of Creole women with delicate features, emphasizing their strength.

8 - Nom: The Gentleman
With "Nonm", I celebrate the essence and charisma of Caribbean men through powerful expressions.

9 - I Enmé Koy: She loves herself
A woman admiring her reflection, embodying self-love with warm and soothing colors.

10 - Mama: The Mother
"Mama" pays homage to maternal figures, capturing the love and light they bring.

11 - Twa Tèt: Three Heads
Closing my collection, "Twa Tèt" celebrates the beauty of kinky hair, a symbol of our cultural diversity.

Conclusion
My participation in this event was an incredible experience, a showcase of Afro-Caribbean art. With my 11 works on tarpaulin, I was able to share the beauty of my world and the spirit of the Antilles.
